The FRASER CREATIVE LEARNING CENTER (FCLC) is a non-profit organization that enriches the lives and futures of preschoolers in the Grand County/ Fraser Valley area.

Capacity: 30 Children
Age Range: 2 years, 6 months to 5 years

The FCLC is nationally accredited through the NAEYC and is also a 4 star Qualistar rated center. The MISSION of the Fraser Creative Learning Center is to provide a safe learning environment in which children can grow and develop emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. Through this creative learning environment, it is the GOAL of the FCLC that each child will enter school ready to succeed by experiencing an age-appropriate curriculum.

Our school is divided into two classrooms: Caterpillars and Butterflies. The Butterfly classroom  is for older students headed off to Kindergarten the next year. The Caterpillar classroom is for 2 1/2 years to 4 years. Our facility contains a gross motor room, parent information area, snackroom and entry. Outside we have a large climbing gym and bike path, and a sledding hill in the winter.

We are also located near the town Library and the Elementary school which we visit weekly for events. The FCLC utilizes the Winter Park Resort for our downhill ski program, the Town Park for sledding, and Morning Star Ranch for XC skiing and tubing. During the summer months we offer swimming through certified instructors at the Rec Center. We hike and bike and explore many trails in the Grand county area as well, to expose our mountain kids to the wonderful environment in which they live.

Our curriculum is play based and combines many research based curriculum such as Handwriting Without Tears, The Letter People,  Incredible Years and Creative Curriculum.

We value parental involvement, and require assistance with our ski program, upkeep and maintenance as well as fund raising and volunteering on the Board of Directors. You can also participate by coming by to read to the children or offer your special knowledge on subjects by teaching a class.

We are located at 150 Eastom Ave, directly across from the Fraser Valley Elementary School. You may phone us at 970-726-5681. Call, or stop by for a visit.
